Thanks for the latest rip. It's a very good score.
I have some observations to share with you. Pl. do not mind. I think the input level of overall sound at the time of recording is little bit high. It is causing cracking of sound. Just imagine that if we give 16 Watt input to 8 Watt speakers. I tried to downgrade the input sound which did not work. I think the best thing will be lowering the input level to avoid excessive sound level. You may try it next time.

Thanks a lot Deepak Bhai! I do NOT want to give a false praise. My preference is quality. You have a rich collection of vinyl records which is beyond comparison and not in our easy reach. Above all, these Vinyls are bit rare to get and each costs a lot. Financial constraints are also there. I think you are not going to rip the same Vinyl again and again since you have a busy schedule too. Therefore, it's better to rip it once and all that too in the best possible format. Ha ha..!!

You have really made my day. I love the sound from the tape. As per your explanation earlier, I am not a bit surprised as I did mention that it could be from a master tape. I am familiar with tape transfers as I also subscribe to HDTracks.com.

The echo or reverberation can be removed using iZotope 6 Advanced. It has a button which should work.

These are just regular cassette tapes (not the reel-to-reel tape), luckily they are still in very good condition after so many years. I just started collecting LP/EP records and as such do not have a good collection like Deepak-ji. Will try to rip some good records when I get a chance. Next upload - Vansh (1992) - Music: Anand-Milind. If anybody has access to the audio CD of Vansh - please share in WAV format!

Deepak-ji - the sound level is much better but there seems to be a lot of surface noise from the record. Some of the noise can be definitely removed digitally. What is the condition of the record? Thanks for re-uploading!
I have not done any editing this time,regarding the condition of record it is first print of Columbia(EMI) of 1966 (almost 51 years old).

Well done! This time it's a perfect rip with all the fine details. One thing. The needle seems to have jumped initially.
Since the vinyl itself is over a half century old, we do not expect much hi-fi sound. However, seeing the details, it's 100 times better than the audio CDs. My thumbs up!
Regarding removing surface noise cleaning query: Using izotope RX 6 Advanced software, I did not find any hum. For surface noise, I tried the "Noise gate" function's "SLOW ATTACK" mode in Sony Soundforge 11. It gave very minor difference. I think through 20 Band equilizer or Smoothening function in Sony Soundforge software, one could alter the digital version to some extent. Since the output is DIRECT, not through the media player, one could get the genuine sound quality. Media player has its own settings which could be manipulated as per need. Also, adjustments in equilizer within the media player (e.g. VLC etc.) may be useful, if needed. Softwares could be discussed, if mailed me on prasadburange@yahoo.com.

Friends great work from you both but I just want to know why this editing is required?Just go back 6 months when I was using software to edit the hiss sound,surface noise etc and then many people were talking about natural fragrance of vinyl.They even doubted on the source blaming the rip is not from genuine record etc ha...ha ...ha..
Also look on my first upload of MAUSAM (1975) in which I omitted the dialogues due to some copyright reason,but the result ...a long discussion blaming it's not from genuine record,it's web rip etc.
So after so many controversies I started again the rip without editing.
Prasad sir you are absolutely right we can not expect hi fi sound from 50 years old record.
Regarding removing surface noise cleaning it is with the down loader to do whatever editing as per his requirement.
This is my opinion.We cannot satisfy everybody.

I agree with your point wholeheartedly. It's up to the down loader on the enhancement that he or she wish to make. I have downloaded the re ripped song Tumhin Meri Mandir and I must say it's superb and better than the first. Other imperfections such as needle jumping is acceptable as the record is 50 years old. My appreciation for your effort Deepakji as you are willing to share your collection with music lovers in this blog.

If I am you, I will go ahead with the pristine untouched unedited rips. The one who wants to edit the songs should be free to edit at their own level. The edited version may be shared by the individual, if needed.

Dear Deepak Bhai and other friends hi,
Some of the recent shared albums are in very good sound, regarding to Khandan Rip recording quality i must say i am agree with Deepak Bhai that the untouched vinyl is good and the vinyl classic sound is tolerable,but the dhul sound and gala gotha hua vocal bardasht nahi hota.
There are some distortion in song, but the vocal has good depth.
may be the LP is not with good condition.
I am sharing Kishore song from Dahshat 1981 which i earlier shared in Kishore Bappi Lahir collection, but i have found its Vinyl good quality thanks to (Atanu Raychaudhuri) Youtube channel only i did a bit enhancement and changed it to FLAC 24 bit and also Mp3 320Kbps for the one who like small size songs.

yes.. there was a discussion earlier about let the hissing of vinyl be there.
even today i m of the same opinion.
with due respect to everyone.. my opinion you rip with hissing sound wtht disturbing original sound.
those who want all other things removed can learn to do that through online tutorials and you tube.. even softwares are there from torrent.
a raw rip always leaves behind lot of rooms for experimentation in hearing.
