The soundtrack of the film includes tracks, composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal, and with lyrics by Anand Bakshi, who received two Filmfare nominations for these two hits, 'Om Shanti Om' and 'Dard-e-Dil', Laxmikant-Pyarelal however won the trophy for Best Music Director of the year. With hits like, "Ek Haseena Thi " and " Om Shanti Om " by Kishore Kumar and "Dard-E-Dil" by Mohd. Rafi, the soundtrack was a trendsetter for the disco music in the Indian music industry and film's background score, especially the signature tune are still remembered as one of the most memorable ones.

The film's chart-buster song, Meri umar ke naujawaanon (aka Om Shanti Om) sung by Kishore Kumar reached the number 2 spot on the Binaca Geetmala's annual list 1980, while another duet between Lata and Kishore, Tu Kitne Baras Ki reached number 13.

Love Story is a 1981 film produced by Rajendra Kumar. The film also stars Rajendra Kumar alongside his son Kumar Gaurav and Vijeta Pandit both making their film debuts. Vidya Sinha, Amjad Khan, Danny Denzongpa and Aruna Irani also appear in supporting roles. The music was composed by R. D. Burman with lyrics by Anand Bakshi. The film became a "blockbuster" at the box office.This movie made Kumar Gaurav a 'Star' overnight.Amit Kumar won the Filmfare Best Male Playback Award over another nominee, his father Kishore Kumar. The songs Yaad Aa Rahe Hai is considered as one of Amit Kumar's best vocal renditions to date.Asha Bhonsle too made a mark with the sensous Kya Gajab karte ho jee. Another popular duet is the Lata-Amit Kumar song Dekho Maine dekha hai yeh ek sapna.

The film was later remade into Telugu as Prema Sankellu (1982) directed by Vijaya Nirmala and starring her son Naresh. The film didn't become a hit, despite the enormous success of the music.

Union Leader Vijay Saxena wants his employer, Dhanraj, to treat his employees as shareholders, and for this purpose he presents him a cheque of 10 lakh rupees being their contribution, which Dhanraj accepts. Then the company shows huge losses, as a result the employees are unhappy and are certain that Dhanraj has manipulated the accounts to show a loss. To make matters worse, an employee loses his leg, and is hospitalized, unable to be employed there anymore. Dhanraj promises a compensation of Rs.60,000/- but the worker only ends up getting Rs.10,000/-. When Vijay confronts Dhanraj, he is told that Mohan, another employee, may have been responsible for stealing the balance Rs.50,000/-. Vijay threatens to kill Mohan, and shortly thereafter Mohan's dead body is found with multiple stab wounds, also killed are his wife and child. Vijay is caught red-handed, arrested by Police Inspector Jaikishan Verma, and tried in court. Jaikishan's wife, Sub-Inspector Jyoti, comes to his rescue in court, testifying that she was with him at the time the murders took place, thus shattering her married life with Jaikishan, as well as the life of her sister, Vidya, who is to be married to Vijay. The question remains, did Jyoti give a false testimony to save Vijay, or is she really having an affair with him?

CHANDNI (1989) / OST VINYL RIP

Chandni was a blockbuster in 1989 and is one of the most successful films of Indian cinema. The huge profits of this musical brought an end to director Yash Chopra's lean phase. The platinum success of its music was instrumental in ending the era of violence in Bollywood and bringing back music into Hindi films.
Whenever the current crop of actresses is asked to list their dream roles, Chandni is almost always included at or near the top of the list. And yet when one considers the possibility of the role being performed by any but Sridevi, one cannot help but feel that she is the only one who could ever play the part with as much grace, humor, elegance, and restraint. Sridevi *is* Chandni, just as Dilip Kumar is Devdas, Amitabh Bachchan is Don, and Rekha is Umrao Jaan. These performances are so completely intertwined with the actors who embody the characters that it becomes all but impossible to imagine anyone else in the part. Because of this Chandni has become a romantic archetype, one that would inspire the generation of romantic heroines who were to follow (it will be obvious to anyone who has seen Juhi Chawla in "Darr", Madhuri Dixit in "Dil To Pagal Hai", Kajol in "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge" or even Preity Zinta in "Veer Zaara" that these characters are derived from the "Chandni" mold). It is interesting, therefore, to consider that in the career of a woman who has nearly always played larger-than-life characters, she achieves one of her great successes in playing an average, middle-class girl, one who is not afflicted with any of the great dilemmas that burden her other characters, like ravaging insanity (Khudah Gawah), diabolical egomania (Laadla) or matrimonial self-destruction (Judaai). Chandni is a typical Punjabi girl: carefree and fun-loving, who falls for Rohit (Rishi Kapoor), an upper class heir who defies his conservative family and marries the girl of his choice. All seems relatively pleasant until Rohit is paralyzed in a helicopter accident. This strains the relationship, and Rohit declares that his love for Chandni has died. Thus the marriage is ended, and Chandni is left to live the life of a single working class woman. Thrown for the first time into the whirlwind of economic independence, she stumbles as she tries to relieve the tragedies of her past with the responsibility of the present. Eventually she catches the fancy of her boss, Lalit (Vinod Khanna), whose advances she rejects until Rohit reenters her life. The structure of the plot is not unlike other love triangles; where Chandni was different (and magnificently so) was in the way it presented this 'every woman': childlike but wise, suffering but sexual, this was a major multi-dimensional screen creation, and Sridevi infused her with her own brand of quiet dignity, raucous silliness and pert sexuality. Yash Chopra originally offered the role to Rekha (who had played a woman named Chandni in "Silisila" nearly a decade earlier) but she did not want to go back and play a character she thought she had already done. So she recommended Sridevi for the part. If the film proved one thing it was that even in the every-woman guise, Sridevi cut a larger-than-life figure. She was not a Hema Malini or a Madhuri or even a Rekha. She inhabited the 'normal' woman in such an abnormal way that at once we knew that though she was real, she would remain untouchable. 'Chandni' is a modern day icon to film actresses, proving that one need not sacrifice novelty for the sake of normalcy. The film boasts of incredible chemistry between Sridevi and Rishi Kapoor, especially in the first twenty minutes when Rohit romances Chandni, revealing her inherent vivacity that later becomes tempered when Life interrupts her hitherto ideal love story.

This film was big flop by director Anil Ganguly. Mithun as Sherlock Holmes, a dectective doing a investigation 2 find a murderer.
But the movie got 1 very positive element in it: the song AAO MERE PAAS by Kishore da. I got no words 2 praise him for the way he sung it so romantic. Pancham's great music and Gulshan Bawra's powerfull and romantic lyrics made this movie not 2 forget. The song is a backgrond song in the movie. That could be better is my opinion.

Satyapti lives a middle-classed lifestyle in Lajpat Nagar, Delhi, along with his wife, Kaushalya, three sons: Ram, Bharat, Balram, and a daughter, Tulsi. He used to be a soldier in Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's Azad Hind Fauj, and after India attained independence served in the army, and is now retired, receiving a meager pension. His son, Ram, also served in the army, got wounded, lost his leg, and disfigured the right side of his face, got discharged from the army, and suspects his wife, Rukmani, of prostitution. Bharat, honest to a fault, works as a Clerk with the Ministry of Defence, while Balram and Tulsi are collegians and their father arranges to pay for their education after mortgaging his farmland. Bharat used to love Sneh, but she married wealthy Vijay Kapoor, leaving him embittered. Then things change for the better when Bharat wins a 10 Lakh Rupee lottery. They pay off their mortgage, move into a bigger house, Ram gets plastic surgery and an artificial leg, while Bharat gets ready to get engaged to Pooja, his co-worker. Their idealist world is shattered when Satyapati finds out that Bharat has obtained 10 Lakh Rupees by accepting a bribe to steal a file from Rahim U. Khan; Balram and his girlfriend rob the Express Bank; Ram finds out how Rukmani is earning money;Tulsi gets raped by Dalbeer; while Pooja gets sexually molested by General Jindal.

Aap Ke Deewane is a 1980 Hindi movie produced by Rakesh Roshan and directed by Surendra Mohan. The film stars Rakesh Roshan, Rishi Kapoor, Jeetendra, Pran, Ashok Kumar, Tina Munim, Ranjeet, Deven Verma, Hrithik Roshan , Keshto Mukherjee and shoma Anand. The films music is by the producers brother Rajesh Roshan. Rakesh Roshan's son Hrithik Roshan makes a brief appearance as a child artist. The film is Rakesh Roshans first attempt at production, going forward he produced and directed films. Rishi Kapoor and Jeetendra being off screen friends of his, he had a song put in to ensure the 3 get together on screen too as Jeetendra did not have a role in the film and is present only in the song. Rishi Kapoor (born in Mumbai (4 September 1952) is an Indian Bollywood actor, film producer and director.Rishi is the second son of famous film director and star Raj Kapoor. His brothers are well-known actors: Randhir Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor. He is father of actor Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor. Rishi is the paternal uncle of today's actresses Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. Rishi Kapoor first debuted in his father's 1970 film Mera Naam Joker (My Name is Joker), playing his father's role as a child. Rishi Kapoor had his first lead role opposite Dimple Kapadia in the popular 1973 film Bobby which became an instant hit with youngsters. He has since then appeared in hundreds of movies. This movie has everything you ask for. A gripping storyline, an engaging presentation, excellent comedy, beautiful songs and dances and above all awesome Sridevi and Jaya Prada along with Jitendra.The songs with pans,flowers and sarees may be considered outdated as compared to present Hindi movies, but still can amaze you with the visual sights. Music by Bappi Lahiri still leaves you craving for more, songs sung beautifully by Kishore Kumar,Lata Mangeshkar,Asha Bhonsle..... leaves you wishing you owner of such voices never have to die or retire and sing for ever They look breathtakingly beautiful, give powerful performance and the ladies..boys can they dance? Although the story of two friends or sisters loving the same man has been told many times, Tohfa's take on this is different. This movie never drags ,you are on the edge as many unexpected things unfold throughout till the end of this movie. Kader Khan in his character role was flawless; Shakti Kapoor did the both hilarious and villainous act equally well. Who can forget Aaaaooooo Lalita . Tohfa did not miss one single attempt at comedy. All the lead actors got different shades to act and enough scope to showcase their talent. Jaya Prada's motherly love and care for his sister and negative shades towards the end were executed perfectly. Jitendra was good both at his playful act in the 1st half and as a father, a responsible husband and an estranged lover in the 2nd half. But as usual, the actor who remains in your mind from the start till the end and as time passes , the actor who makes you watch this movie once again is Sridevi. She is charismatic. She is powerful. Her screen presence is immense. You cannot see beyond her. She is makes you go ga ga with her naughty acts and dances in the 1st half, you can feel her agony, her sacrifice and you will feel her suffering through her sheer expressions through the end. Be it tragedy, comedy, dances, drama .she does everything perfectly
