I downloaded the Namak Halal files. The file format is AU FORMAT SOUND. I saw hundreds of small files in four folders. Pl. let me know how to fix this problem.

These files are in the form of Audacity project files. In order to save it as WAV or FLAC, the Audacity software (free) needs to be downloaded and the ".AUP" file needs to be opened in it with "File-> Open". After this the whole album can be saved in desired format by selecting appropriate option after selecting "File-> Export".

Thanks Biswa Ji! It worked perfectly! The sound quality is so good that I am really enjoying it. The whole album is among my most favorite ones. It was 1993 when I was doing my batchlors studies in Nagpur and came across a cassette recordists namely Gupta and he had the best sound recording facility namely AUDIO POINT. I used to visit his small facility in the first floor which he created after partitioning a 12x15 ft shop in Panchasheel Square of Burdi Area of Nagpur. Later, he became a good friend of mine too due to frequency of visits. I still remember how he took efforts to clean the Vinyl which was giving him trouble to record Raat Baaki Baat Baaki song. There were many ardent fans of this shop. Later in 1995, it was forced to shut down upon receipt of notice regarding Infringement of Copyright Laws. Deepak Bhai knows about this shop very well. This share made me nostalgic! Ha...!!
Well! The overall sound quality, recording quality, the best combination of singers and musician made this album a real memorable. I have had the FLAC of it. But it was ripped from an audio CD in 16 bit format. I never heard of the typical characteristic Vinyl sound in that album. The ripper has done a great job. And we must THANK NPN Ji for sharing this precious album with all the music lovers. ALL involved in this project made my day. A HUGE APPLAUD to efforts being taken by the members of this group.
