Wowwww... Dil-e-Nadan is another classic. I was craving for Chandni Raat Mein song. Deepak Bhai, you must be remembering "Audio Point" at Nagpur. Once I went there and he was recording the same song. What a heavenly pleasure!!!

Yes Prasad Sir I too recorded this particular song on 90 min audio cassette that time from "Audio Point".All the songs from this movie is good so I purchased the vinyl later on.Due to the rules of DMCA and my rips being sold on Internet I minimizes the hissing sound while ripping vinyl but I know when you listen these rips on your Boss headphones it doesn't matters too much,all the instrument & vocals are clear.
I'm free for a week so will try to post maximum.

Right...!! I too recorded the same song on TDK cassette in 1995. I had a habit of visiting his shop just for listening to the songs in quality sound. On a very fine evening, Gupta uncle Ji, the owner, was having a lot of trouble recording this particular song from LP. It was bouncing again and again. I witnessed his frustration. Finally, after 3 attempts, he was successful. The year 1995 is still in my memories and hope the same for you too.
It is really shocking for me to know that people sale these vinyl rips online. I never thought about this aspect. Well...!! May I suggest something? If possible, we music lovers could get the rips through the email and we will keep these precious rips at more personal level. I am not an expert in law and order. I am sure you will take the best decision based on your life experience and knowledge of laws. Thanks for clarifying my doubts.

Mr. Deepakbhai, I request you to plz stick to 24 bit as 32 bit as ( only used for editing & not for distribution )

"24bit offers 144db of dynamic range between silence and full scale.
Even you have a superb D/A converter / amplifier , the dynamic range is about 120db.
So anything below -120db (0db=fullscale) is masked anyway by the noise of your hardware.
32bit just make sense for editing, but not as distribution format.
Converting from 32bit to 24bit will add noise at -140db, still far far away from your "noisy" hardware.
btw. 32bit will be converted anyway by hardware to 24bit, there is no 32bit D/A converter in standard pro/consumer hardware.
(Yes, there is a 32bit D/A converter chip available, but just in a view products)
So, don't care about 32bit as distribution format. 24bit is in most cases also overkill.

Have you tried just running flac.exe with the bits set to 32 and the source your wav file?
That said if this is just some intermediate file while you're processing I wouldn't bother with FLAC. Just use WAV until processing is done, and then at the final step convert to 24 bit and flac it for archive or distribution.
It just taking extra disk space.
If one is to convert from wave to flac it support only 24 bit floating wave and not 32 bit floating wave , only wavepack supports 32 bit.........
